Another one of Michael's favourite. Simply because it's ground meat base. What else is new, huh? lol. I like making this because it's just so easy and simple and using the ingredients that I would normally have in the kitchen. I try not to make anything that requires me to buy something that can only be used for certain things. When I buy something, it has to be practical or else it would probably ends up in the rubbish bin after only being used once. I try not to waste any food. ;)
1lb ground beef
1 egg
2 tablespoon water
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1. Preheat oven at 350F
2. Combined all the ingredients with the ground beef last.
3. Shape into balls about 2-2.5in in diameter. You should get around 24 balls.
4. Lined them on a cooking sheet with about 1in space between them.
5. Baked for 30min.
You can either make your own sauce or do what I do, used the canned spaghetti sauce. ;) Put 1 cup of sauce in a small pot and reheat for about 5min. Add the meatballs into the sauce and stir until all the meatballs are covered with sauce.

now heres a nice way to have meatballs ... my hubby will love it. I've always just had them on spaghetti, or curry sauce, but in a bread roll is brilliant. Thanks !
Hey Farina,
Looks good and it tastes even better if you add cheese on it. Do you use hot dog bun for your meatballs?
Jun, he loves 'cekodos'! lol.
Ummi, thanks for dropping by. Nnanti farina jengok rumah Ummi pulak ok. Meatballs memang senang nak buat and cepat. ;)
Dayang, ni tengah tunggu dayang datang rumah lah ni.
Kate, thanks for dropping by. I prefer meatballs spaghetti too but hubby likes it more as a sandwich. Meatball w curry sauce? thts new to me!
Yatie, we hardly have cheese unless its burger or cold sandwiches. I guess u cud have it w cheese. If we only have hotdog buns, thts wht we'l use. We'r not fussy. lol.
I've never had meatballs sandwiches like that. Usually, they are on my pasta.
Interesting way to cook the meatballs. I have never baked them before, usually shallow fry them. Will try this method. Thanks!
hey there!!
im a cadet pilot in Sydney and i have to say thanks for all this recipe.
your simple but great recipe have been a lifesaver a bunch of times.
thankkk youuU!
Sparticus, you're most welcome. Kat Sydney tu, senang nak cari Msian food kan? But of course mahal asyik beli aje. Its good that you cook as well so taklah belanja banyak sgt. :)
quite mahal, and i live not that near to the city anyway. i live like 30 minutes drive from the city and its quite dull here, no malaysian food at all. but thers a whole row of asian shop and thats usually where i get the ingredients.

Iv been meaning to make nasi tomato but tak kesampaian lagi. Iv seen a few frens making them. Nanti bila i dah berjaya buat, i will let you know ok?
